~Purchasing A Puppy~
If you are interested in adopting a KalMont puppy or adult, please follow the step below.
1. Fill out a Puppy Buyer's Application - As a responsible dog owner and breeder I take very seriously the commitment I have made to dogs, and Corgis as a breed. Therefore, I try my best to find happy homes for each dog that comes into our home. My goal with my application is to get to know you and what you are looking for better so that I can find you the best possible placement and hopefully insure that you and your new pet will be happy for a lifetime!
When you are ready to start the process to purchase a puppy, please contact me and I will e-mail you a copy of my application for you to fill out.
2. Put Down a Deposit - After you have filled out an application and it has been approved, it is time to put down a deposit. We accept deposits for puppies as soon as they are born. When you put down a deposit you are guaranteed a puppy. A deposit will hold your puppy until 9 weeks of age (longer, if agreed upon in advance). We do not require or allow you to pick your individual puppy at birth. All puppies in a litter will be evaluated for show potential at eight weeks of age. We usually keep back 1-2 puppies for possible placement in show homes. After the show potential puppies have been selected the remaining puppies will be available at your choice in the order that the deposits were received. When you put down a deposit however, you are guaranteed the sex and color of pup you request.
Prices/Deposits:
For pet puppies sold on limited AKC registration we ask: $850
For all pet puppies we require a $150 deposit to hold.
For show potential puppies sold with full AKC registration and health guarantee we ask: $1300
For all show puppies we require a $225 deposit to hold.
These prices are just a guideline and ONLY APPLY TO PUPPIES. Prices are subject to change.
3. Fill out a Sales Contract - After placing a deposit now you will need to sign a Sales Contract. My contracts are very basic and detail what I require of you as a buyer and also my guarantees. Please contact me for a full copy of my pet or show contract.
4. Pick Up Your Puppy - After all the paperwork has been completed and the puppies are 8 weeks old it is time to take your new addition home. You are welcome to come here to KalMont Kennels to pick up your puppy or I will gladly arrange for shipping. We ship with Delta Airlines and can ship to most larger cities. We can ship as quickly as 2 days but it may take as much as 10 days to get a flight due to weather and availability of flights.
